Keeping the Vintage Motorcycle
Scene Alive!
For eight years the Texas M/C Revival, a show celebrating vintage motorcycles, was held on the grounds of Central Texas Powersports in Georgetown, TX. The dealership was eventually sold, and the new owners weren’t interested in continuing the event, so the Revival went on a two-year hiatus. Steve Littlefield, the original organizer of Texas M/C Revival, reached out to Pat Hanlon, owner of the Hill Country Motorheads Museum and the two vintage motorcycle enthusiasts agreed that the show must go on! The Texas M/C Revival was reborn at the Hill Country Motorheads Motorcycle Museum in 2021.
Held on the grounds of Hill Country Motorheads Motorcycle Museum, the Texas M/C Revival has become the premier fall Texas classic motorcycle event. In addition to the machines on display in the museum, the motorcycle show exhibits approximately 200 classic and vintage bikes entered by enthusiasts and includes something for everyone - scooters and minibikes to rarely seen or even heard of pre-war bikes. In addition to prized motorcycles, the Texas M/C Revival also offers a meet & greet with special guests, special exhibit displays, food trucks and vendors such as the Motorcycle Grand Tour of Texas.
Hosting the Texas M/C Revival fits well with the Hill Country Motorheads Motorcycle Museum’s mission to exhibit, restore and preserve vintage motorcycle history. Motorcycle enthusiasts are able to display their prized machines while talking motorcycles and telling stories (some stories might be true). The slow-paced feel of the Texas M/C Revival allows people to take their time to enjoy the exhibitor motorcycles and museum displays, swap stories with friends and relive the good old days.
The museum is located at 2001 W Hwy 29 in Burnet, TX. Gates open at 10 am on day of event and admission includes the motorcycle show, the museum’s diverse motorcycle collection, food vendors and special exhibits and guests. Awards for the motorcycle show are presented at 3:00 pm. Texas M/C Revival is family friendly and well-behaved/vaccinated & leashed pets are welcome.
Disability parking is available by front gates.
